Meet Lily, a beloved new addition to The Klines!

A cuddly young pup, only about three years old, has been with us now for just a couple of weeks. And yet she feels like she’s always been a part of the fabric of our family.

And we just discovered why.

My husband, Travis, just stumbled upon this painting by his late grandmother, Wanda Boyce. She was Pam’s mom and an accomplished artist whose works grace much of our home. Wanda seems to have captured here our Lily (an English Pointer) and dear Poppy (an English Setter) out on an adventure — hunting, no doubt!

What Wanda could not have known then, of course: Lily and Poppy (also coincidentally both named after flowers) actually prefer spending their energies catching up on Zzzzzzs.

We’re so happy to have made this serendipitous discovery that we’re framing it to hang the painting in our living room with some of Wanda’s other works we inherited + other family art created by Pam, Travis, our boys Gavin and Tait and even me!

In honor of Wanda, TL at Home has a customer-favorite coverlet + sham collection called BOYCE.

Made of all-natural linen and cotton, our Boyce matelassé is in our signature stonewashed construction and depicts a classic diamond motif expressed in heathered color.

Designed for the four seasons, Boyce feels comfortable all year round and comes is equally versatile colorways — Ivory, Sky and Terra.

BOYCE is IN-STOCK + READY TO SHIP from our Hudson, NY warehouse.

Shop BOYCE under our “Coverlets” tab here on our website, or contact your CODARUS territory sales manager to place an order.

Parkside Linen is “resolutely a brick-and-mortar establishment.”

So says owner Shandon Whistler, adding: “We do not do e-commerce.”

If a customer wants something from the upstairs home textiles and accessories boutique, “they can call us up on the phone, and we will send it over – anything they want that we offer.”

It’s the way Shandon successfully runs her longtime business, based in Indianapolis, IN. “We like to do one bed at a time, one table at a time. We’re very intentional about what we do.”

She goes on: “At Parkside Linen, we are considered experts at making beds. We create a sleep system for our customers from the mattress up, literally.”

Parkside carries Vispring mattresses, which are handmade in England, as the foundation of their sleep assortment – “and then we go from there,” she explained.

That means a robust offering of “wonderful down bedding products from many different sources” PLUS a variety of luxury linens.

TL at Home is proudly part of the product mix.

Shandon raves about TL’s bedding selection, which she described as broad and “all good! I can’t say enough of TL at Home. It’s a company that offers great products and the greatest service. That is their hallmark. If they don’t have something you need, they’ll help you find an alternative. They care and work hard to solve your problem.”

And our sampling, she stresses, “is wonderful! For a small store like ours, nice samples are hugely important, and Shari offers great samples.”

Thanks so much, Shandon! We ♥ ParksideLinen, too!

2022 = A Perfect 10

Happy New Year!

January is off to a humming start with three back-to-back major trade shows this month, alone – Dallas Total Home + Gift, Atlanta Market + Las Vegas Market – on our agenda.

And thank goodness for that!

Turning the page on a fickle year filled with starts and stops, we are fixated on forging ahead. We’ve become experts at adapting, adjusting, overcoming….When hiccups happen, we don’t hold our breath – we inhale, exhale and…prevail.

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2022 is the year of the 🐅Tiger🐅 – a symbol of strength and courage.

Similarly, color authority Pantone calls Very Peri its ✨2022 Color of the Year✨ for the purplish hue’s “courageous presence [which] encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.”

So empowering 💟

…Which brings me closer to home: 2022 also represents a major milestone for me, as it marks my 10th ANNIVERSARY as the proud owner of TL at Home. Time flies when you’re having fun!

Whatever this year may bring, I’m ready and willing.

With 💜 love,

Holiday Lunch with Team TL

We’re so thankful for our dedicated team at TL at Home!

In gratitude for their hard work and in celebration of this season, we recently invited our staff to a gourmet, farm-to-table lunch at Local 111, where we were treated to specially prepared meal by Chef Josephine Proul.
You might recall she is a winner on Food Network’s Chopped – plus she was named Best Chef in Columbia County in 2015 + 2016, and was the 2013 recipient of the fourth annual Victoria A. Simons Locavore Award.
Toni-Anne, who heads our staff and customer service department, organized the lunch with restaurant owner + Chef “Jo”. Local 111 serves locally sourced New American fare & regional wines “in a laid-back space built from an old garage.”
The restaurant doesn’t typically serve lunch. But Chef Jo was kind enough to open for us for this private, 15-person event – and it was wonderful! The meal was very special! Among the many highlights: A mocktail from yuzu and cherries.
And each employee received a year-end gift.
We also invited Peggy Woodford’s husband, Dale, so the party served double-duty as a warm send-off to her as she prepares to embark on a new adventure. Our resident jill-of-all-trades Peggy is retiring from TL at Home after more than 19 years on our staff, adeptly working in many different capacities.
🤍We’ll miss you, Peggy🤍

Introducing the TL at Home 2022 Catalog

Keep a close watch on your mailbox. You’ve got a special delivery heading your way just in time to celebrate the New Year!

It’s our 2022 Catalog! We just wrapped up the finishing touches on this latest opus. We’re feeling quite content with the results, and we think you’ll be inspired.

Consistent with our annual catalogs, this new edition is coffee table-quality with its showcase of the natural beauty and enveloping comfort of our new collections – relayed in both eloquent descriptions and captivating photography across 45 picture-perfect pages.

The enduring romance of our “Made with Love” textiles is enhanced by the sunlit settings we used to stage our vignettes.

Juxtaposed to architectural components and vintage elements, the designs and product constructions we’ve created for our new collections feel universal and yet bespoke at the same time.

Fresh off the photo shoot, our new Quick-Ship options are offered in all product categories – decorative pillows, shams, throws, blankets, coverlets and duvet covers.

We’re excited to deliver our 2022 Catalog to you very soon!

And That’s A Wrap!

We just completed our photo shoot for our 2022 Catalog, and now we’re finalizing all the images to get the pages to the printer in time for the book’s release in January!
A harmonious balance of hard work and plenty of fun, the experience was a true labor of love – made possible by dear family and friends.
Among them, my sister-in-law Elizabeth Kline Murphy, a freelance producer, who worked in tandem with photographer John Gruen of JRG Photo to make the process a success.
As Elizabeth put it, we had “a wonderful group of artists working together, being creative and enjoying what they do. I think that usually shows in the photos as well when everything is aligned in good energy.”
Indeed! The result is a thoughtful and enchanting portfolio of images featuring artfully assembled vignettes that juxtapose industrial architectural elements and vintage pieces with TL at Home’s latest batch of soft, textural luxury linens.
“Shari’s new collection speaks of graceful textures and a subtle natural elegance that work beautifully in our raw studio space,” Elizabeth added. “One thing that I love about our space is it’s history and all of the different industrial textures mixed with the light coming in from our old glass – this lends itself to being able to play with the other textures from her textiles in a very organic and mutually beneficial way. Tough, old industry meets soft natural elegance – opposites attract, if you will. One pallet is a perfect setting for the other.”

Reimagining Traditions…

Today, unlike any other time in recent memory, we as a society have been forced into doing just that, especially around the holidays.

Specifically for us here at TL at Home, we, too, have needed to reimagine our “Traditions” – adapting products and services around supply chain interruptions, responding to shifting trends, etc.

But change, as they say, is a good thing, and it’s also good to accept that truth to move forward successfully – both as an individual and as a business.

As owner + creative of TL at Home, I encourage my team to embrace the many evolving changes that continue to confront us. We are up to the challenges and are grateful for the opportunities to serve our customers’ varying needs.

I credit our collective can-do attitude with fueling our success, driving sales and keeping us busier than ever. We’re juggling myriad orders from customers and at the same time finalizing our 2022 catalog and new collections for the New Year. It’s hard to come up for air sometimes these days!

Which is exactly why I’m making a point to PAUSE…and…BREATHE.

With the holiday season upon us, I’m carving quality time with my family and friends. The Klines – me, my husband Travis and our teenage sons Gavin and Tait – will be celebrating an early Thanksgiving dinner with my mother in law & TL at Home founder Pamela Kline at her home here in Columbia County.

Then, we four will be off to Colorado to participate in the U.S. Elite Camps ski training. We’ll be there with other skiing families and friends over Thanksgiving week. I plan to take a break to meet up with our @CODARUS sales duo Robin Dorn and Becky Anderson to visit some of our customers in the area.

Come Thanksgiving Day, we’ll enjoy our feast with the other families and coaches traveling with us. To be sure, it won’t be the usual Thanksgiving festivity we typically have at home in Hudson, NY.

But I’m OK with a change this time around, as long as I’m with my three beloved men.

Whatever your plans this holiday season, we wish you many blessings!

And on behalf of our TL at Home team, we THANK YOU for your continued friendship and support.

With love,
