RECYCLE & REUSE
We have recycled fabric scraps from our cuttings table for over 50 years. Imagine how much fabric that keeps out of the landfills. Since our inception, we have cut and sewn our bedding products from our company headquarters in upstate New York. For every pattern that we cut, we are generating fabric overage that is too small to be used in other products. That leftover fabric becomes scrap. We have never taken any of that scrap fabric to a dump. It’s incredible! We have donated mountains of fabric to the local schools, senior centers and hobby groups for crafting. We’ve sold countless pounds of fabric to makers in our local community. Our fabrics have taken on a second life in theater productions, have been pieced to make quilts, tablecloths & napkins, and even a prom dress! This process of taking the things we can’t use and finding a suitable next purpose for them is the epitome of sustainability.

PACKAGING
Sustainable solutions in packaging remain a point of focus. Balancing the desires of retail store owners and customers who buy our luxury products and expect a certain level of specialty in packaging, against forging a new path where sustainable materials have more value than the traditional thick vinyl bags are on our minds. Recognizing the impact of our everyday choices, we are intentionally looking for cleaner and more sustainable approaches. As the industry evolves, we are paying attention to putting our best foot forward and adopting new materials that show our products in their best light.
