GENERAL CARE INFORMATION
Before using your linens for the first time, please launder according to the included instructions. Finer linens should be laundered separately from other items. Use a gentle detergent made specifically for fine linens. Zippers, buttons, and other rough surfaces may damage the long staple fabrics causing pilling. Avoid detergents with brighteners or other bleaching agents as they will fade colors and weaken the fibers. Shake out your linens before putting them in the dryer. Use the lowest heat setting to extend the life of your fabrics. Do not use a high heat setting or over dry your linens.
Each machine is unique. Please test the heat settings on your dryer regularly. Extend the life of your linens by hanging them to dry as the heat will eventually weaken the fibers. Natural fibers will shrink in the laundry and shrinkage rates vary from fabric to fabric. Please follow the laundering and care instructions included with each piece. If you prefer a more tailored look, consider professional laundering.
Made to Order (MTO) Fashion Fabrics
Please wash your fine linens with a gentle detergent free from harsh chemicals. There are cleaners made expressly for fine linens, and those are always the best choice. Washing instructions will vary slightly from item to item depending on the fabric content, please see specific item for instructions. Slight variations in color and texture throughout the surface of fashion fabrics are inherent to the beauty of the fabrics, and should not be considered flaws.
Duvet Covers are finished with a hidden zipper closure at the bottom and will have ties at all 4 corners. Your duvet cover will reverse to self. Other options are to reverse to percale in White, Ivory or Eggshell. We can also reverse your duvet cover to any of our Essex colors

Bed Scarves are meant to sit at the end of your bed. We make ours double sided, reversing to self, finished with a plain edge.

Shams are made with a hidden zipper closure and are reversible. We offer plain edge, corded and self flanged edges.
Sham Fillers for all sizes are sold separately in your choice of Down or Alternative Down. Our Sham Fillers will fill our your shams perfectly.

Dust Ruffles can be made either with a traditional deck made from muslin or a in the 3 panel construction which comes with a 4” muslin band and is sent with a set of twist pins intended to be attached directly to the box spring.
Dust Ruffles can have a gathered or tailored skirt and have split or continuous corners. You can specify the drop of the skirt with no upcharge. Please contact us for a quote.
Decorative pillows are finished with a hidden zipper closure and have a plain or corded edge.
All Decorative Pillows include a down insert form. Alternative Down forms may be substituted upon request.

Coverlets have been stone washed for easy care. They are machine washable and can go in the dryer as well. The size of the coverlet will not change in the laundry. Please check individual product care instructions for details. Please use a gentle detergent when caring for your fine linens.
Because of the stone washing, the finished size of each coverlet can vary. The finished sizes will not be smaller than what is listed below, but if you are looking for something slightly larger, we can measure some of our stock for you at no upcharge.
