FLASHBACK, FLASH FORWARD

Meet Lily, a beloved new addition to The Klines!

A cuddly young pup, only about three years old, has been with us now for just a couple of weeks. And yet she feels like she’s always been a part of the fabric of our family.

And we just discovered why.

My husband, Travis, just stumbled upon this painting by his late grandmother, Wanda Boyce. She was Pam’s mom and an accomplished artist whose works grace much of our home. Wanda seems to have captured here our Lily (an English Pointer) and dear Poppy (an English Setter) out on an adventure — hunting, no doubt!

What Wanda could not have known then, of course: Lily and Poppy (also coincidentally both named after flowers) actually prefer spending their energies catching up on Zzzzzzs.

We’re so happy to have made this serendipitous discovery that we’re framing it to hang the painting in our living room with some of Wanda’s other works we inherited + other family art created by Pam, Travis, our boys Gavin and Tait and even me!

In honor of Wanda, TL at Home has a customer-favorite coverlet + sham collection called BOYCE.

Made of all-natural linen and cotton, our Boyce matelassé is in our signature stonewashed construction and depicts a classic diamond motif expressed in heathered color.

Designed for the four seasons, Boyce feels comfortable all year round and comes is equally versatile colorways — Ivory, Sky and Terra.

BOYCE is IN-STOCK + READY TO SHIP from our Hudson, NY warehouse.

Shop BOYCE under our “Coverlets” tab here on our website, or contact your CODARUS territory sales manager to place an order.

The MAGIC of TL at Home

M A G I C. Our product development process, in a word.

It sums up exactly what happens every time a new collection comes together: We make magic.

As owner + creative of TL at Home, I let my years of experience and unwavering love of design guide me in my quest for inspiration in all aspects of my life.

And then I let go. I let my eyes wander, my thoughts explore… and (like the old Yellow Pages advertisement used to say) I let my fingers do the walking. I sort through the samples I’ve collected since the last season. These can be things I’ve gotten from my travels in Portugal, things I’ve sourced from my fashion fabric vendors here in the U.S., colors I’ve been attracted to…all sorts of things that come across my radar and cling to my creative mind.

I’ve developed this way of seeing and then editing that involves the traditional design board plus my memory, and I let it all evolve over a period of time until the collection reveals itself to me.

It’s “magic” because, honestly, I don’t know how it actually all comes together. I just know to allow myself to be surprised that it will all work out despite how scattered I might seem.

This season, I’m very excited with what we’ve developed: An earthy palette around camel, marshmallow and charcoal hues to add spark to our core neutral color ways and invite loads of color pops; and, of course, lots of meaningful texture.

Come See Us at Atlanta Market!

The Summer 2021 trade show circuit continues…

…And I’m happy to be back with my team at the Atlanta Market this week!

It’s my second market this summer (the first was June June High Point Market), and only my second market since the pandemic started last year.

In celebration of this week’s show and enjoying each other’s in-person company again, CODARUS (my national sales management partner) invited our team Tuesday night for an alfresco dinner at Barcelona Wine Bar in the city’s historic Inman Park (originally a Victoria residential suburb).

The tapas were delicious, the sangria satisfying and the conversation lively!

Market mood is now kicking in at our AmericasMart showroom: Building 1, 15-A-1.

Come by to see us and our Summer 2021 Collection – a simple yet elegant ensemble of natural fabrications, neutral tones and deft designs that feel classic and current at the same time.
